Hey team, please hold off on the quizzes until we've had a chance to discuss our midterm process more thoroughly in class. (I plan to use the Myers-Brigg personality assessments a little later in the course.
I have a portfolio midterm reflection letter and checklist for you to peruse. I'm currently editing it and will upload it to the site for both teams to look over as soon as possible. Do feel free to share ideas for how you are assembling your portfolios and what you are placing in them! But for right now, please consider the quizzes as instructions for team members in the 4th per section only. |

The mid-term point of the semester encourages everyone to access what they have gotten out of the semester at this point. In both SRMHS 180 teams, there will be some kind of portfolio review focused on what you have already accomplished and what you hope to accomplish. Please take a couple of minutes to visit http://180degrees.wetpaint.com/page/Strengths+and+Weaknesses as we prepare for this 'mid-term' portfolio assessment and brainstorm what your portfolio will look like. There is an interesting article, a personality type questionnaire, and several quick polls/ surveys. Are you focusing on your strengths or your weaknesses in this upcoming assessment? What will your portfolio look like? Will it be a online blog or a video presentation? Could you have a notebook portfolio of what you've learned about yourself or perhaps a PhotoShop collage of images and quotes that represent your goals and areas you know you need to focus on? Please brainstorm 'aloud' on this discussion thread so that others can give you feedback as well as get ideas for their own portfolio- the portfolio handout can be downloaded at http://attachments.wetpaintserv.us/OMpbOLYDF1hFtsx86wh1%2Bg%3D%3D191488
Do you find this valuable?
