Looking Back and Forward...

We are approaching the final exam point of our 180 experience. The 4th period 180 mid-term portfolio is to structure looking back at the last 18 weeks. Your final portfolio should include:
  • Final Exam Portfolio checklist and the Self-evaluation on the back
  • Looking back and forward... Final Exam Reflection, according to the guidelines. To give you some thoughts about this, participate in this anonymous survey for the 180 program so we can adjust based on the feedback of our pilot members.
  • Looking back… Your weekly big rocks/ weekly reflections, in order
  • Looking back… Two peer evaluation forms showing your ability to work with a partner
  • Looking back… A Minimum of one artifact from each theme, along with a brief paragraph describing why you selected this/these artifact(s):
    • Reflection
    • Values
    • Perspective
    • Critical thinking
    • Choices & Decisions
    • Organizing yourself for success
    • Setting and Achieving your goals
    • Emotional I.Q.
    • Communication
    • Leadership
    • Global Citizenship
    • Looking back… Two other items that shows that you had to solve a problem through teamwork (Committees, student led activities, etc.).
    • Looking back… Two other items that demonstrates your leadership skills.

    • Looking back... S.M.A.R.T. goal of something you accomplished 4th quarter
    • Looking forward... Your Action Plan including S.M.A.R.T. goals
    Appointments to present Final Exam Digital Portfolios
    Directions: Feel free to Easy Edit this page and list your name beside the time you'd like to present. Presentations will take approximately 10-15 minutes per person. Only seniors qualified for exemptions will be allowed to present early and not attend exam day. Warning: This means you cannot attend school during that time to visit.

    Me and my partner Tierra believe that seniors should not have to come to school the day of 4th period exams. Instead they should present their portfolio a week before finals sometime between May 12th and may 14th. We have also created a sign up sheet for seniors to sign up for a day that fits their schedule best.
